Why Sydney Builders and Flooring Contractors Keep Booking PowerPump

500+ bags/hr

pumped per hour, up to 60 floors

The most powerful screed pump in Australia. Over 500 bags an hour through the hose and vertical reach up to 60 floors, so a high-rise level pours as fast as a ground slab. Levelling that used to take a week is finished in hours to a day.

Zero dust

No silica risk on your site

No bags cut, tipped or mixed on your slab means no respirable silica dust and no clean-up. Safer for every trade on site, and one less compliance headache under NSW Chapter 8A.

Printed docket

Pay only for what’s pumped

Every batch is measured mechanically by weight and printed on a docket before we leave. Exact quantities, no estimating, no padded invoices — you pay for what went down.

Get your programme back

Over 500 bags an hour through the hose. What took a crew of four all week is done in a day, so the trades behind you start on time instead of standing around. Quotes back within 24 hours and scheduling that bends around your programme, not ours.

Take silica dust off your site

Since NSW Chapter 8A landed in September 2024, mixing bagged compound on site drags you into silica paperwork, air monitoring and the Silica Worker Register. We mix on the road, sealed on the truck. Nothing gets cut, tipped or swept on your slab — so there is no respirable dust, no register, and no risk to anyone standing on it.

High output screed pumping icon

One truck. Slab to floor-ready.

Supply and installation in one booking — product, pump, hose and licensed operator. The most powerful screed pump in Australia reaches up to 60 floors, so high-rise levels get the same day-rate throughput as a ground-floor slab. No cranes, no hoists, no pallets in the lift.

Instant estimate

Know What Your Floor Needs. In 10 Seconds.

Two numbers and you will see exactly how much levelling compound your slab takes. No forms to wade through, no waiting on a callback to find out the basics.

Not sure on depth? 5 mm covers most slabs. We confirm it on site at no cost.

Compound needed 909 kg
That’s about 46 × 20kg bags
Hand-mixed, that is 2–3 days of labour PowerPump Truck – 1 day
Estimated material cost $1,818 + GST $2,000 inc GST · based on $2/kg

Estimate only. Material at $2/kg (that is $40 per 20kg bag) plus GST, using 1.82 kg per m² per mm. Excludes pump hire, labour and site specifics. Your real figure depends on how flat the slab already is, access and the product spec, so we confirm the exact number and a fixed price before anything is booked.

How Our Sydney Self Levelling Service Works

From bare slab to floor-ready in a single visit

  • Send us the job — area, depth, level and the date you need it done. Quote back inside 24 hours.
  • We check access — pump position, water, and how high we’re going. Then we lock in your slot.
  • We mix on the road — every batch measured mechanically by weight on the truck. No bags, no barrows, no dust on your slab.
  • We pump all day — 500+ bags an hour through the hose, up to 60 floors, straight to where it’s going. It finds its own level.
  • You get a printed docket — exact quantity pumped, batch by batch. You pay for what’s on the receipt and not a litre more.
  • Floor coverings go down — typically within 24–48 hours, and we leave the site as clean as we found it.

Who books the truck

Self Levelling for Builders, Flooring Contractors & Architects

Builders & Head Contractors

Your programme lives or dies on the concrete floor being ready. We level whole levels in a day so tilers, carpet layers and joiners start on schedule instead of standing around. Quotes back in 24 hours and scheduling that bends around your programme.

Vinyl & Resilient Flooring Companies

Vinyl, LVT and sheet vinyl show every hollow and hump in a slab. We pump a dead flat, covering-ready substrate to the tolerance your product warranty demands, so you are not skimming and grinding the day before install.

Carpet, Timber & Tile Installers

Underlays prepped properly the first time. A pumped self levelling underlayment gives carpet, engineered timber and large format tile the flat base they need, with no bagged compound stacked in your way.

Architects & Specifiers

Specify a floor levelling system that is mechanically batched by weight, documented on a printed docket and backed by Hychem warranties. Every batch performs exactly as specified, which is what makes a spec defensible on handover.

Developers & Project Managers

Apartment towers, townhouse builds and mixed use projects. Vertical reach to 60 floors means level 42 pours as fast as the ground slab, and you pay for the exact litres on the docket, not an estimate.

Fitout, Retail & Industrial

Retail fitouts, warehouses, factories and commercial refurbs. Fast turnaround, out of hours pours where trading hours demand it, and a clean site handed straight back to the next trade.

Questions we get on site

Self Levelling Sydney: Frequently Asked Questions

How much does self levelling cost in Sydney?

Cost comes down to area, depth and access. Because every batch is mixed mechanically by weight on the truck and printed on a docket, you pay for the exact quantity pumped rather than a padded estimate. Send through your area, depth and dates and we come back inside 24 hours with a fixed quote.

How long before flooring can go down?

Vinyl, carpet, timber and tile can typically be laid within 24 to 48 hours of the pour, depending on depth, site conditions and the covering being installed.

How thick can self levelling compound be poured?

From a 1 mm feather edge up to 70 mm over concrete in a single pour. Deeper build ups are handled with bulk fill or an engineered screed.

Can the screed pump truck reach high rise levels?

Yes. It is the most powerful screed pump in Australia, with vertical reach up to 60 floors. A high rise level pours at the same rate as a ground floor slab, with no cranes, hoists or pallets in the lift.

Does pumped screed avoid silica dust rules under NSW Chapter 8A?

Mixing bagged compound on site can pull you into respirable crystalline silica obligations, air monitoring and the Silica Worker Register. We mix sealed on the truck, so nothing is cut, tipped or swept on your slab and no respirable silica dust is generated on site.

Do you supply the product, or do I?

Supply and install come in one booking: product, pump, hose and licensed operator. All you provide is the slab and water. Products are manufactured by Hychem, Australian owned, so the warranties are real.
